Lait p'tits béarnais
Description
Fanny and Jean-Baptiste run the farm which is close to Orthez, in the Béarn and will happily share their passion for their profession with visitors.
They take great pleasure in explaining the day to day life of cows and calves, along with the nature of the soil, plant life and ecosystems.
The demonstration of the working sheep dogs and hay making is well worth seeing and there is also a 20 minute long film which explains the history of the farm and reveals how milk is made. Finally, the farm shop has a large range of products for sale including regional cheeses, soft cheese, mature cheese, yoghurts and other dairy products.
