Domaine Guirardel

On the slopes of Monein, near Pau and in the heart of the Jurançon AOC.
The Guirardel family has been producing wine since before the birth of Henri IV. Over the centuries, they became attached to their property, practicing mixed farming. In the 19th century, the family began shipping wine throughout Europe. The four-century-old winery offers exceptional aging conditions.
Today, the Guirardels carefully cultivate their 5 ha vineyard. South-facing, the vines are sheltered in a cirque facing the Pyrenees. This unique terroir, combined with traditional winemaking methods, has produced wines of recognized quality for over two centuries. Owned by the Casaubieilh family for ten generations, this small 5-hectare estate on the slopes of Monein was taken over in 2020 by Marjolaine de Coninck.
