Chateau Maucamps has been renowned for the quality of its wines since the 18th century, when it was under the ownership of the Lalanne family. In 1954, the Tessandier family acquired the chateau’s vineyards, located in the village of Macau. Perfectly positioned on the banks of the Garonne, the property benefits from the same microclimate as its prestigious neighbours (including Château Cantemerle, Margaux First Growth).The unique flavours of this Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois Supérieur exemplify its terroir.Throughout the year, visitors enjoy weekend visits of the vineyard and winery buildings.
