S.A.R.L Mercier

10 km from Montignac and the Lascaux cave, the Mercier house perpetuates the traditional activities of breeding, force-feeding and foie gras production. In the heart of the Périgord Noir, 2 km from the centre of La Chapelle-Aubareil, the ducks are raised in the open air and then force-fed with whole grains of corn. All year round, stock up in the farm's shop, which should whet your appetite: in addition to the traditional foie gras, confits and other rillettes, the shelves are full of regional products (walnut kernels coated with chocolate, onion and fig confits, honey, aperitifs, liqueurs...).
