Entrance to the Bruyères de Rocq moorland

Situated in the Aisne department, this conservation area of nearly 25 hectares lies on the western flank of the Cessières-Montbavin marsh. This area encompasses a variety of ecological habitats: sparse woodland, heathland, peaty marshes and low-growing vegetation on sandy soils, and is home to a multitude of animal and plant species that are endangered or protected in the region.
