L'ALPAGA ET LE COLIBRI

Visit the alpaca farm, the wool processing workshops and the craft shop. Our farm is located 1km from the Gimone lake and 4km from the centre of Boulogne sur Gesse. Visits by appointment last around 1? hours.

Visits are by appointment only and last between 1 and 1? hours (Mondays and Thursdays, 2pm).
We meet the Alpacas, most often the suckling females and their young crias. This is an opportunity to talk about the origins and specific characteristics of these animals, our choices and our day-to-day husbandry. Then we present our various workshops and wool processing trades: carding, spinning, dyeing, machine knitting, weaving, felting, etc. And finally we end the visit in our shop area where you can discover all our articles. Apple juice and chestnut cream produced on the farm are also on sale.
