Plage Lumière

The Lumière beach is located near the Henri Langlois esplanade and opposite the Allée Lumière.
Lumière beach is one of the four large family beaches of La Ciotat.

The Lumière beach is very popular with families with children as the low gradient makes it easy to swim. There are also activities for children on the esplanade.

This sandy beach has a first aid post open during the summer.

It has been awarded the Tourism & Handicap label for the four disabilities (mental, auditory, visual and motor), and benefits from a system designed for people with disabilities, including an access ramp for people with reduced mobility, the provision of specific swimming chairs and trained staff.

This is a non-smoking beach and dogs are not allowed on the beach.

Several hotels as well as many restaurants and cafes are located close to the beach.

The nearest car park is at the port of Saint Jean. Parking is also available along the Boulevard Beaurivage and in the perpendicular avenues.
