Plage des Catalans

The Catalans beach is a sandy beach, the closest to the Old Port, below the sports club Le Cercle des Nageurs. It is equipped with a first-aid post, showers, toilets, garbage cans and a refreshment bar.
The volleyball court hosts high-level competitions and training sessions for the Catalans beach volleyball club.
It is also the home of the underwater museum.

The surveillance of the beaches will be from June 1 to August 31, 2022 7 days a week from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm.

In order to allow bathers to enjoy the site in the best conditions of hygiene and comfort, the beach has been reprofiled and sifted to 30 cm deep.
It is now cleaned daily. Similarly, a sanitary module has been installed. The showers are operational every day, while the sanitary facilities are open.
