Description
Chateau Desmirail is open to visitors eager to discover the secrets of the Margaux First Growths
The owners of this prestigious estate are only too happy to reveal the secrets of their magnificent Margaux First Growth.
Visitors enter the estate through its strikingly elegant gates to discover a charming 18th chartreuse, and a series of attached winery buildings.
Once inside, visitors are presented with the property's historical vat-houses, alongside a new, cosier construction, conceived under the tutelage of the chateau's current owner, Denis Ludon.
As the vines bask in the soft Medoc sunshine (the estate spreads over 30 hectares), visitors are introduced to the sensory intricacies of wine tasting, as part of themed workshops.
This is the perfect opportunity to taste the property's excellent barrel-aged wines, to experiene at first hand the elegance and finesse that define the wines...
