Domaine des Matines

Domaine des Matines owes its name to Asnières Abbey. This family estate covers 52 hectares.

Hervé is very attached to the history and traditions of his estate, which he will share with you during an authentic guided tour.
His cellars are overflowing with treasures, and since 1955 all the vintages have been kept in a large limestone cellar that is well known in the region. Walk with him through a long labyrinth of narrow corridors, as he tells you the story of this family with simplicity and conviviality. It's a great pleasure for him to share his know-how. You'll even find an array of vintage objects and old bottles.

At the end of the visit, it's time for a tasting!
You'll discover no fewer than 14 different appellations, showcasing the diversity of Loire wines: Saumur red, Saumur Puy Notre Dame, Saumur white, Saumur Champigny, Crémant de Loire, Bonnezeaux and more.
