Notre-Dame Church is considered one of the architectural gems of the Laon region (it is said to have one of the most beautiful Romanesque apses in northern France).
Most of the church dates from the 12th century, and it underwent modifications over the following centuries before being listed as a Historic Monument in 1921.
Take a tour of this massive building, admire the richly decorated friezes and capitals – notably its famous harpist sow – and you may even be lucky enough to go inside!
