Fishing activity (1st category = trout, carp & whitefish): Daily (€14), weekly (€36.50) or yearly permits (€87) on sale at www.cartedepeche.fr or from Bar Le Phocéen in Montsalvy or from Junhac bar-tobacconist's.
The tour of the lake takes about 15 mn.
Fishing on the lake is permitted every day of the year, with the exception of trout release days: 31 January, 21 February, 7 & 28 March, 11 April, 2 & 23 May, 13 June, 4 & 25 July, 8 & 29 August and 12 September 2025.
Number of catches limited to 6 per day and per person.
Carp fishing at night authorised from Friday to Saturday and from Saturday to Sunday.
