In 2020, Nicolas Debry opened his own butcher shop in Spy, with the mission of offering his customers authentic and local products. Mission accomplished! Boucherie de l'Artisan makes 95% of its charcuterie in-house and carefully prepares 100% of its cooked dishes. It also offers high-quality local meats, such as Gembloutois beef and Floreffois lamb. You’ll also find many specialties made with Bertinchamps beer, including dry sausages, meatballs, and pâté.Right next to the butcher shop, discover the Snack & Grill de l'Artisan, where you can enjoy the butcher’s products as well as many Belgian specialties: meatballs in Liège-style sauce, mitraillettes, or Flemish carbonnade with Bertinchamps beer. For a 100% Spyroux experience (inhabitant of Spy), try the local specialties from the snack bar: Spycadelle, Spycroc, Spy Gett’s, and Spychix!By car, after approximately 5 minutes of driving from Boucherie de l'Artisan, you can explore Bois de la Veuve and Bois de Betche aux Roches, where the Cave of the Man of Spy is nestled. You can also visit the Espace de l'Homme de Spy to learn more about this unique prehistoric site and its surroundings. On foot, the Terragame Center is less than a 5-minute walk from the butcher shop.
