Château Mercier
Description
Close to the citadel of Bourg, Château Mercier is a 25 hectare wine estate, family Chéty's property for thirteen generations. Philippe and Martine welcome you with their children, Isabelle and Christophe, to their house which is also a B&B and a holiday cottage.
Respectful to tradition recieving for their predecessors, this family has chosen an integrated farm management. Amid the vineyards, note the presence of a small meteorological station and an insects counting plan. The various stages of the traditional wine-making process are explained to you in the wine storehouse.
