This lovely town built on a rocky peak, classified as an “Ancient Village”, is surrounded by medieval ramparts. Its narrow and picturesque streets descend towards the port via the Porte de la Mer, the rue de la Gouttinière or the Escalier du Roy to reach the covered washhouse.
On the upper part, discover the Halle, the Hôtel de la Jurade and the Château de la Citadelle (18th century Chartreuse) and taste the local specialty: the Figue de Bourg.
Guided tour from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. every Wednesday from May 15 to September 25.
Duration of the visit: approximately 1h30.
Bring comfortable shoes as there are stairs.
