Description
In Pugnac, partway between Saint-André-de-Cubzac and Blaye, the winemakers of the Alliance Bourg label (formerly the Pugnac Producers’ Union) await you. Alliance Bourg is the result of a merger of three cooperatives located in the Côtes de Bourg and Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux AOC regions, and now counts more than 130 members and a staff of about 30 employees. Altogether, they look after some 700 hectares of grapevines. Pugnac has one of Alliance Bourg’s two shops where you can familiarize yourself with these authentic local wines (the other is located in nearby Tauriac).
