Étang de Viers

Covering 7 hectares, it lies at the northern end of the village. It is fed by the Battut stream.
It is mainly stocked with carp, roach and tench.
Around the pond, three picnic tables are available for anglers and walkers.

Fishing is open on the ponds from May 1 to the first Sunday in November.
Annual fishing cards are on sale at the Bistrot de Pays "La Châtaigneraie" at "la Boulangerie", or from the wardens Michel Prost and Bernard Cesse, at a cost of ?35 (for fishing on the Viers and Montsour ponds), (?15 for young people aged 12 to 18) and free for children under 12.
Day fishing at the étang des Ganes, weekends and public holidays (maximum 6 catches authorized): 10 Euros per day.
