Chestnuts are an important fruit in the southern Haute-Vienne region. (flour, chestnut cream, chestnut puddings, apple-chestnut jam, etc.)
LIMDOR?s chestnut growers benefit from a modern, functional and high-performance plant. Calibrated to process over 500 tons of chestnuts, the station is equipped with a fruit washing/calibration line to select only the finest fruit, and a packaging line for marketing in bulk or in nets. Our plant is certified global gap, AB, Label rouge.
By 2023, the union hopes to have 50 to 60 members. Purchases can be made directly from the cooperative.
