La Ferme de Tourenne

Established in January 2022 in Saint Médard d'Excideuil, Tourenne is an organic farm. Crops are partly grown using animal traction, an ancestral method increasingly used in agriculture for its ecological value. Much less soil compaction than with a tractor, so the soil is more aerated, and investments are lower with simple, precise tools.
A laying hen workshop helps us maintain the plots. My husband helps me on the farm on a daily basis.
Concerned about my environment and the products we consume, I'd like to share my vegetables with you as the seasons go by.
You can find us at the Excideuil market on Thursday mornings, and at the Saint Yrieix la Perche fair on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month. And visit cagette.net to order baskets of vegetables.
