Pâtisserie Faure - Gâteau Arena
Description
A must-have Saint-Juniaude almond-based specialty, the Arena cake has been made since the end of the 19th century. It is named after its creator, Paulin Arena. In 1908, he presented it at the Concours National de la Pâtisserie in Paris and won the Grand Prix. This cake, made with blanched almonds, egg white, sugar, flour and butter, has earned a solid reputation and is sure to charm you! You can find it at the Faure patisserie in Saint-Junien town center.
