Les Cabanons

You are here in the heart of the Châtillon vineyard, with its typical cabanons. There are more than 300 in the canton of Die, and nearly 70 in the commune of Châtillon-en-Diois alone. Many of these are simple tool huts, often accompanied by a rainwater harvesting system needed for phytosanitary treatments. Others have one or two rooms and have a fireplace. Nowadays very degraded for some, some cabanons are the subject of an important restoration.
