Vignobles Chanfreau - Châteaux Fonréaud et Lestage

Built in 1855 by Henri de Mauvezin, the Château has an elegant facade dominated by a bell tower.

Its vineyard, of approximately 42 hectares, is arranged in an amphitheater on the slopes of the “Puy de Menjon”, the highest point of the Médoc with its 43 m.

Upon arrival, admire the elegance of the Château surrounded by the vines. A professional guides you through the concrete vat built by the father of the current owner, Jean Chanfreau. He then shows you the semi-underground cellars built in the 17th century and then improved over time. The visit ends with a commented tasting of red wines from the Listrac and Moulis appellation and white wine: Le Cygne du Château.
