La Lauze Museum
Description
This museum is entirely dedicated to the 'Lauze', a type of limestone from the Isle-Crémieu.
In the first room, the Lauze Museum presents the geological aspect of this stone as well as quarrying work. Ancient tools and testimonials. The second part of the museum shows lauze roofing techniques and its presence in the local architecture and landscape.
