Description
Transhumant cheese shepherds for several generations in the Aspe Valley, Bearnaise Pyrenees on the commune of Lourdios-Ichère, the Lassalle family farm is a stage of the Ossau-Iraty Cheese Route
From June to September, come and discover our life in the summer pastures at the Saoudarie hut located above Lourdios, a hut which already sheltered our ancestors in less favorable conditions. We will show you how we live in close intimacy with our herd and the surrounding nature which gives our cheese the luxuriant taste of the herbs and flowers of the mountain pastures.
