The Natural Zone of Ecological, Faunistic and Floristic Interest "Ponds and former gravel pits in Argancy and Woippy" is located to the west of the commune. The remarkable species belong to different groups: amphibians, reptiles, birds,
mammals, plants. Seven species of bats are present. The environments are very favourable to avifauna. The reptiles are represented by the Agile Lizard, the Wall Lizard and the Common Garter Snake. Among the amphibians, the Common Toad, the Palmed Newt and the Green Frog are present.
