Description
La fabrique de Macarons is located 10 minutes from Hasparren, in the heart of La Bastide-Clairence, a village classified as the Most Beautiful Village in France. The workshop is located on rue Notre Dame, in the direction of the church, and the smell of artisanal baking of macaroons and cannelés will be your guide. You'll also find cookies and pure butter shortbread.
A grandmother's recipe for sure, push open the door to discover it. You'll be invited to discover how they're made, and you'll be given all the explanations you need, including the origins of macaroons in the Basque Country. It always ends with a tasting session - who can resist? And perhaps once your taste buds have been seduced, you'll decide to take some home with you. A second boutique awaits you in Saint Pied de Port.
