Miellerie Christian DUMON
Description
A beekeeper since 2005, Christian Dumon started with 3 hives, 17 in 2006, to finish with 250 in 2017.
The honeys are produced and harvested in the tradition, in reasoned beekeeping, which allows to have honeys of quality: acacia, all flowers, chestnut and sunflower.
The hives are spread over the communes of Brugnac, Castelmoron-sur-Lot, Coulx, Fongrave, and Monclar in winter.
The increase in livestock has made it possible to practise transhumance beekeeping in the summer in Lot-et-Garonne and the Dordogne, particularly for chestnuts.
Christian sells his products directly from his home, on order, but you can also find them in the grocery stores of Verteuil-d'Agenais, Varès and Monclar.
