Caro Les Ruchers
Description
Caroline POUGNARD has always been sensitive to the environment and passionate about biodiversity.
Aware of the importance of pollinating insects in the food chain, she took a training course at the Magnerolle apiary school in Soudan (79), before setting up CaRo Les Ruchers.
A hobby beekeeper in Sainte-Néomaye, her apiary consists of 3 to 10 hives from which she extracts 3 harvests of all-flower honey a year.
Present at farmers' markets, she also educates young people and adults through workshops and exhibitions on domestic and wild bees.
Her products, such as old-fashioned beeswax polish and handmade candles, are on sale at the Haut Val de Sèvre Tourist Office.
