Ferme de Savrelle

Description

Laurent Monnet, who has been farming with his father since 1997, first raised breeding geese for 10 years, before devoting himself exclusively to cattle breeding.
Today, 80 Limousin suckler cows make up his herd, and are used to raise calves for meat production.

The animals are raised on dynamic rotational grazing during spring, summer and autumn.
Committed to soil conservation agriculture, the farm is as self-sufficient as possible in terms of animal feed, with sorghum silage, grass and hay for the winter season.

Boxes of meat for grilling, boiling or processing (8 or 10kg) are sold at the farm every two months, to order.
Beef pâté is also available.

Meat and processed products are sold at the Plaisirs Fermiers store in Saint-Maixent-l'Ecole.
