GAEC Vergers de Briteste
Description
Les vergers de Briteste , a tree farm whose main activity is the production of IGP mi-cuit Agen prunes.
We are two brothers, partners in a cooperative on this 105-hectare farm that used to belong to our parents. Our 40-hectare orchard is planted mainly with Ente plums, from which we make our semi-cooked prune. All processing is carried out on the farm.
We market all our prunes as semi-cooked and direct sales, to producers' stores and a few distributors. We also take part in numerous gastronomic shows throughout the year.
Our plum trees are cultivated using sustainable methods, and we use dynamized water to produce prunes of the highest gustatory quality.
