The first room is dedicated to Melusine and recounts her legend in the form of illustrated panels. The second room presents the Lusignan family, from its origin to its apogee in Poitou and its overseas kingdoms. Finally, the third room is dedicated to the city and the castle and offers a reconstruction of the latter in the form of a model. In addition to the exhibition, the volunteers of the association offer guided tours of Lusignan throughout the year (fee payable). Visitors are invited to discover the secrets of the legend of Melusine and to explore a great page of medieval history by discovering the city of Lusignan: the church of Notre-Dame and Saint-Junien, soon to be a thousand years old, the remains of the castle, the fortifications, as well as its famous lords who became kings of Jerusalem, Cyprus and Armenia.
