As a designer of jewelry and decorative objects, Mélanie draws inspiration from ancient shapes and motifs to create contemporary enamels, while following the ancestral techniques of metal enameling for which Limoges is famous. The starting point may be a work, a form, a style? Then she unfurls the path, without necessarily knowing where it will lead her. She also mixes enamel with other materials: enamel and paper (handmade at Moulin du Got in Saint-Léonard de Noblat), cardboard or Limoges porcelain.
