La nouvelle église
Description
Saint-Servais est une église néo-gothique construite par l'architecte Gustave Hansotte (1827-1886). Elle fut construite en pierre de Balegem, une pierre calcaire sensible à la pollution atmosphérique. L'église, qui a été entièrement restaurée, remplaçait l'ancienne église datant du Moyen Âge. Celle-ci a dû disparaître en raison du percement de l'avenue Louis Bertrand.
