Art glassware Soisy-sur-Ecole

At the heart of the Regional Natural Park of Gâtinais Français, the Glassworks of Art of Soisy sur Ecole opened its doors in 1978, created by a family of glass tradition, owner of the Glassworks "La-Rochère" since 1856.
A glass garden in the park of the glassworks bathes you as soon as you arrive in this creative universe which puts in the honor the know-how of the glassmakers.
At the entrance of the workshop, the educational space gives you the essential information on glass.
Further, two passionate glassmakers work in public at the opening hours of the store. What a surprise to see the warm glass swell with the breath and take shape with the help of some rudimentary tools!
You will discover in the shop, next to traditional collections, amazing achievements, resulting from the ever renewed creativity of glassmakers; their skills extend to utilitarian objects such as plates, goblets, carafes, decorative objects, vases, lamps, including unique and artistic pieces, vases with mysterious decorations, glass flowers, giant fruits ...
