Les Vergers de l'Île Feydeau
Description
Florence and Philippe Ménard cultivate an 8-hectare orchard of organic chestnut trees in Parcoul and La Roche-Chalais, and offer a range of products derived from chestnuts: chestnut cream, marrons au naturel, chestnut purée and flour.
From planting to production, they talk about their work as castaneiculturists: nursery, young plantation, pruning, grafting, harvesting... Then it's time to taste the cream and flour.
On sale every Saturday morning at the store in Saint-Aigulin, and by appointment during the week.
