Mathieu Claverie launches "Le Planchot", a brand of cutting boards and butcher's blocks 100% Béarn. His signature: the Pyrenees mountain range! It sculpts the top of the board and gives it all its originality.
The love of woodwork combined with the passion to create objects as decorative as they are functional have given birth to cutting boards in the shape of the Pic du Midi d'Ossau, a true symbol of Béarn. Mathieu cuts his boards by hand and uses different types of solid wood such as ash, oak or chestnut, all of which are coated with abrasin oil because of its drying properties, giving a quality finish.
