This late 19th century house once belonged to the Delponti family. Born in 1820, Giovanni Delponti studied sculpture on wood at Varallo school (Valsesia). It took him 30 years to complete the series of stucco sculptures that adorn the façade. In the middle, the sculptor is depicted with his wife, wearing the local headdress, along with figures who must have been dear to him. The vertical lines are marked by medallions of lions and by volutes. The window lintels are decorated with horns of plenty and the roof deck cornices with mythological figurines and medallions.No. 92, GRANDE-RUE |Bourg-Saint-Maurice
