Château des Princes de Ligne a Antoing

Antoing Castle was the stronghold of the powerful family of Melun and then passed to the current line of Princes. Today we can still see a large part of the 12th century enclosure and the bolewerk (fortified bastion) built in the 15th century. In the 19th century, the famous architect Viollet-le-Duc transformed the castle into a magnificent Neo-Gothic house.
