PARC DES ANCIENNES FORGES DE STENAY
Description
This park, now communal, was laid out after 1835 by the forge master in front of his dwelling house (now a socio-cultural center). The imposing building separated the private garden from the factory, which operated from 1776 to 2005 (229 years!).
A wooded park with rare species (Ginkgo - Tulipiers de Virginie - Beech - Purple Beech) crossed by the Canal des Forges.
Rehabilitated former greenhouse - footpath - children's play area.
