La Salamandre was created at the initiative of two associations: Le Trait d'Union (www.geraldine-duriaux.fr) and the Athanor association (www.fonderie-athanor.fr), bringing together craftsmen and professionals passionate about the arts of fire.

THE SALAMANDER AND THE ARTS OF FIRE

Dedicated to the Arts of Fire, but also) other crafts, La Salamandre is located in Liouville, at the gateway to the Meuse coast, in a magnificent traditional stone building that already houses the Athanor art foundry.

By creating La Salamandre with the association "Trait d'union", we wanted to open a new meeting place for know-how where everyone can enrich their work and establish new collaborations according to their technical expertise.

Artisans - foundrymen, ceramists, ironworkers, glassmakers, engravers, painters... - will exhibit, propose animations, organize events together and offer courses and training for beginners or experienced enthusiasts. Artists who wish to obtain technical support and a workspace will also find their place there.
