La Ruche de Lola

La Ruche de Lola is a family-run business that produces local, artisanal honey harvested with the greatest respect for bees, extracted and lovingly potted by the beekeeper, as well as by-products (sweets, nougat, soap, gingerbread, etc.). The honey house is located on the farm, a 50m2 building housing all the equipment needed to extract and jar the honey. Most of the 200 hives are located within a twenty-km radius of Massais, and are moved around a few times a year for special honey flows. In 2024, La Ruche de Lola won 3 medals out of 3 honeys presented at the Concours des saveurs de Nouvelle-Aquitaine, including a gold medal for all-flower honey. La Ruche de Lola products can be found in many local shops.
