Hike in the heart of the peaceful countryside of the Pays de Fénelon, passing through Eybènes, a magnificent little hamlet with its beautiful restored church and manor house, the Moulin de la Garrigue along the Inval stream, and the limestone hillsides of Borrèze, a Natura 2000 area full of wild orchids. Departure from the hamlet of Eybènes (Commune of Salignac). From the village of Eybènes, go down to the Borrèze Valley on the D47 road for about 400 meters, then turn right towards "Barbeyroux". Borrèze is situated in a valley surrounded by hills 300m high on 2737ha at the gateway to the Black Perigord. The parish takes its name from the river that runs through it "La Borrèze", a tributary of the Dordogne downstream from Souillac. The architecture of the houses is in light beige stone and is characterized by the presence of roofs in Corrèze slate and flat Quercy tiles. Thanks to the circuit cards, it's the child who takes on the role of guide-explorer. The fact sheets are designed as a treasure hunt to discover our historical and natural heritage, and provide clues for solving enigmas. There are three levels to each trail. Each child will find a card adapted to his or her age (4/6, 7/9, 9/12). A mascot, Inspector Rando, accompanies and guides children on the trail to help them solve the riddles.
