Lit transcendental, Claire Roudenko-Bertin, Landes du Pouchiou - Garein, 1995, FNAC 01 181 By a kind of miraculous logic, this work has chosen, thanks to its various actors and witnesses, to borrow its original strength, bringing it, through its artwork form, a return of soul. Designed to invite the visitor to come and lay a desire of unknown nature at its centre, the Transcendental Bed uses the materials and carpentry techniques of the traditional house of the Grande Lande and is intended, through its complex assemblies and cutting lines, to be a tribute to 17th century carpentry. For Claire Roudenko-Bertin, materials and techniques have been re-informed by artistic thought.

Gothic fortified church and late 13th-century wall paintings The paintings in the apse's cul-de-four were restored in 1890 by L. Augier and L. Millet, as attested by an inscription. Earl Casty, légumes du Brassenx is an organic farm in the commune of Arengosse, surrounded by pine trees, cornfields and fields of white asparagus. 135 hectares of farmland dedicated to organic vegetable production since 1996! Direct sales of organic vegetables: asparagus, carrots?

Saffron?gòssa Le safran Landais- Natural cultivation - Eco-responsible products - Small-scale farming - Great commitment Welcoming and passionate, Nelly has been growing saffron bulbs since 2017 in the commune of Arengosse. She cultivates naturally, i.e. without chemical inputs. All tasks are carried out by hand: planting, weeding, harvesting, pruning and, of course, drying. His saffron has been laboratory-tested: category 1, the best! From pure saffron to the saffron products she processes, she selects organic and/or local produce. For containers and packaging, she uses glass, cork, kraft, linen, jute, wood?

With the exception of the aisles and porch, the church is classified as a Historic Monument. The chevet and central nave date from the 15th and 16th centuries, while the aisles date from the 19th century. Its bell-wall is the most remarkable in the region. It rests on imposing buttresses joined by an arch supporting a balcony, and its pediment is pierced by 5 arcades. The basket-handle west portal dates from the 16th century, a period of transition between Gothic and Renaissance art. Its five voussoirs are filled with real or imaginary animals and figures set in foliage. Three statues represent Saints Michel, Loup and Laurent. Magnificent trompe-l'oeil architectural decoration.

To the east of Morcenx and the Arjuzanx National Reserve, the commune of Arengosse is located 26 km north-west of Mont-de-Marsan, close to the Landes de Gascogne Regional Nature Park. Make a stop in its Parc des 7 eaux, a traditional outbuilding of an airial that was moved and then rebuilt in the village, in front of which a swinging well was installed This former sheep park has a silhouette comparable to that of the airial's dwelling. Contrary to the majority of the Landes sheep pens which have a roof with three or four waters maximum, the one of Arengosse has seven, hence its name! This roof is supported by wooden posts resting on stone bases and connected by plank walls.
