It also follows the golf courses and offers options for detours to the ocean beaches. Pine forest, labyrinth of villas and proximity to fine sandy beaches, the atmosphere is multiple.

Welcome to PARCC, the MACS art center in the heart of the Labennes forest. A space dedicated to contemporary creation, with a cultural program open to all. With three large exhibition halls, a creative workshop and a practice space, PARCC is a lively place designed to host large-scale exhibitions, but also offers mediation and artistic practice for all audiences: children, families, schoolchildren... Nestled in an unspoilt area in the center of Labenne, the art center invites you to take a break on its roof terrace, with panoramic views and a stroll through the theater of greenery.

The chapel was built in 1932 on the dunes at Labenne Océan. Of classical architectural style, it is composed of a sanctuary and a single nave. The interior of the chapel is decorated with a Way of the Cross painted by a student of Fine Arts, Suzanne Labatut. The Germans, who occupied the chapel during the Second World War, fled with the bell. It was replaced after the occupation. Over the years, the chapel has suffered climatic hazards and vandalism, it is very degraded. Because of its heritage character and its location on the dune, the Conservatoire du Littoral is implementing its restoration in the fall of 2018. The bell is restored and put back in its bell tower for the inauguration of the chapel in June 2019. The chapel is not open to the public, except for exceptional events, but it is possible to admire it from the outside.

Located in the center of Labenne, the garden of the village is a park with trees perfect for leisure or relaxation. There is an orientation course, a sports course, picnic tables in the shade of the pines and its green theater where concerts are regularly organized in summer.

Church built in the second half of the 19th century according to a rather classical Latin cross plan. A particularity: the porch opens to the east and contradicts the Landes tradition that porches open to the west. This particularity would have been thought to protect from the west winds? Another originality characterizes this building: it is entirely covered with ivy. In 1860, Napoleon III donated liturgical furnishings: the altar of the Virgin, the altar of St Joseph, a pulpit and the panelling. The church has a 19th century piéta and a 16th century wooden statue of a virgin with child. The church is open to the public

Interest: Protected natural area. Main ornithological site. The marsh was dried out for agricultural purposes under Napoleon the IIIrd mandate. This old polder is surrounded by canals. It is now a privileged halt for migrating birds wanting to rest and feed. The Marsh of Orx welcomes a great diversity of birds. It is a vast and well known protected area. Open all year long for a free visit: Activities, guided tour (by appointment), bird watching…

Located on the Avenue de la Plage in Ondres, Pouky's restaurant provides traditional French and basque cuisine. On the menu, prime rib rubs shoulders with Spanish hake, roast lamb mice are served with garlic chipirons... A large variety of gourmet flavours is offered to you. For groups, an aperitif-tapas is suggested in its friendly bodega. The restaurant is open from Wednesday to Sunday, for lunch and dinner until the end of June. It offers a dish and a dessert of the day at a very attractive price every lunchtime. In July and August, the restaurant is open from Tuesday to Sunday evening.

The new PAN'CHO takeaway restaurant has been declared open! The many fans of the Food Truck can now find their favourite delicacies just opposite the market square in Ondres: kebabs, tacos, hotdogs, sandwiches, tenders, chips... Everything is 100% home-made, no frozen food, just fresh seasonal produce, skilfully cooked! Open from Wednesday to Sunday, you can now sit out on the terrace and enjoy Pan'Cho's hot bread!

Baggio Pizza offers its customers take-away pizzas (traditional, vegetarian ...), ice creams made in the Basque Country, a few cold drinks. The ice creams (around sixty flavours) are made in France by our master ice cream maker (Jean-François Duport from sopaglaces). We also offer ice creams from the Baïlia farm in Bardos (made with milk from their farm and local fruit). For snacks, try an American kebab, burger, panini or salad. You can also eat on the shaded terrace opposite the shop.

The campingsite Campéole is ideally located to discover south-west of Aquitaine: the landes region and basque country: its gastronomy, local festival, picturesque towns of Biarritz, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Hendaye… The campingsite Campéole is also the nearest campsite of the beach of Ondres: only 200 metres by foot: you’ll enjoy lots of activities like bodyboard or surf. A cycling path will also permit you to join others sandy beaches and Capbreton marina through the landes pine forest. Warmer outdoor swimming-pool, children games are provided.

The Campéole Park motorhome area is located at the Campéole campsite near the ondres beach and restaurants, in a typical Landes environment: pine forest and dune (protected). The service, stamped Flot Bleu, offers: water, electricity, waste water drainage. It is also the starting point for the cycle path (vélodyssée). To Capbreton -> forest track for the whole family. To Bayonne -> track surround city. During the summer, a shuttle drives between the beach and ondres center where you'll find food shops and open air market (on Sunday).
