Situated in the village of l'Hôpital, on the "historical variant" of the Way of St. James between Soulac-sur-Mer and Vendays-Montalivet, the Hospital Chapel, whose foundations date from the 12th century, has been undergoing a certain revival in recent years, mainly due to the association of Friends of the Chapel of St. John the Baptist of the Hospital.
