An easy hike starting from the pretty village of Malvezie, mainly in the forest. You will enjoy a peaceful hike in the Frontignes, passing by old barns before returning via the charming hamlet of Vignaut.

Easy and enjoyable, this trail immersed in the fir trees gives you a taste of the joys of snowshoeing without any particular effort, making the experience accessible even to beginners.

Patou present. From the Col de Menté, you can reach the Pic de l'Escalette, a superb 360° viewpoint. This route through forests and summer pastures offers opportunities to see wildlife (including herds of Patou cattle).

Patou present. Le Cagire (1912m) is the emblematic summit of the Comminges. It offers beautiful views of both the high peaks and the surrounding plain.

X Country - Altitude: max 655m/mini 568m. Stroll through the sun-drenched villages of the Frontignes and gaze up at the indomitable Pic du Gar massif. A family walk that will take you along paths that are not particularly difficult but do have a slight incline that should be taken into account.

X Country - Altitude: max 924m/mini 416m. You'll have something for your calves. This route, one of the longest in the mountain biking area, will take you from the Frontignes to the Sauveterre Basin, over the foothills of the Pyrenean foothills, culminating in a passage over the Col des Ares. This technical and long route will test all your mountain biking skills and physical fitness.

X Country - Altitude: max 828m/mini 463m. You're in the foothills of the Pyrenees in the bastion of the Frontignes. Take the time to look up as you change from Pyrenean to Mediterranean vegetation, with holm oaks gracing the landscape. Starting from the lake at Saint-Pé-d'Ardet, this route will take you through several villages in the Frontignes: Génos, Lourde, Ore, Frontignan-de-Comminges and Antichan-de-Comminges. This route is difficult, short but physically intense.

X Country - Altitude: max 710m/mini 404m. With this route, discover Sauveterre de Comminges and its hamlets from above. A complete itinerary for all good mountain bikers, where you'll find all the ingredients for a great technical ride. The climbs can be short and technical or long and rolling, accompanied by a variety of descents. No calf muscles!

A gourmet hike is organized on the Trail at P'art on Thursday, July 23 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Hiking open to all. Jump in your walking shoes for a gourmet day in a picturesque village of the Astarac: Simorre! Accompanied by a Pass'enGers guide, you will start the day with a 4 km hike (80 m cumulative elevation gain) on the A p'Art trail. This course is punctuated by works of art in the heart of nature and offers a beautiful panorama of the Gers hills. At the end of the hike, you will discover the history of this picturesque village where wooden houses and brick architecture compete in elegance, as well as the architecture of the abbey-church redesigned by Viollet-Le-Duc. At lunchtime, a gourmet picnic awaits you, consisting only of local products: duck and black pork terrines, vegetarian tartines, melon, floc de Gascogne and craft beers, Côtes de Gascogne wine, apple juice, biscuits... Everything comes from a radius of 50 km maximum. In the afternoon, you will be able to visit independently the peasant museum, and admire its reproductions of mastodons (not included in the price). The museum presents traditions related to honey, hive products, beekeeping and bees. The Sainte Marie Apiaries has been a bee farm since 1963. Today we have 1,000 beehives which are located in the Pyrenees and which in the high season will be moved according to the flowering of the flowers and the varieties of honey we produce. Heather honey, Chestnut, Linden, Flower, Acacia, Rosemary, Orange tree, Sunflower, Spring honey. Beeswax candle, Honey cake, Natural soap, Propolis, Pollen, Gift box, Honey candy (handmade by us) etc...

Open-access waterhole: Caillau stream (at the bottom of the bridge over the stream, animals can easily approach the stream and drink). Water point for animals only between the village of Fougaron and the hamlet of Carboues.

A lake of glacial origin, the pretty lake of Saint Pé d'Ardet is just outside the village. It covers an area of around 2 hectares, and its flora and fauna make it a perfectly protected nature reserve. On hot summer days, it's great to enjoy the coolness of this site. Fishing licence required. Interfederal, annual, weekly or daily cards accepted. Comply with the regulations of the Haute-Garonne Fishing Federation and the opening periods for mountain lakes.

The guinguette is also a friendly space for socialising and entertainment, with a real sense of local life! The Guinguette at La Rivière aux Papillons campsite is open from Friday evening to Wednesday evening from 7 pm (closed on Thursdays), as well as every Sunday lunchtime. In summer, you can swim or take swimming lessons at the local pool, 5 minutes from the gîte. A thousand and one walks, Cagire, Paloumère, Mourtis with its ski resort. Stop off at the Col de Menté for a tarte baux myrtilles. For horse lovers, Cavalcagire is just a few kilometres away. If you want to get fit before winter, you can go to the thermal baths at Salies-du-Salat, Luchon or Loudenvieille. And why not visit Spain, 38km away, and its Val d'Aran wildlife park. Les Matines has all the makings of a large 85m² cottage, completely renovated. For children: you can register your children by age group in one of the 3 on-site clubs: the Miniclub for 2 to 5 year-olds and the kids club ages 6 to 11: arts and crafts, educational games and outdoor discovery of the environment, fishing, skits, evening campfires... the teen club for ages 12-17: sports and recreational activities during the day and in the evening. The team will also organize evening entertainment: performances, dances, games, theme evenings, music, cinema...

Come and enjoy the Pyrenean Piedmont! Situated at an altitude of 800 metres in the Comminges, in the heart of the Pyrenees, our gîte welcomes you to a peaceful, leafy setting. Come and recharge your batteries in peace and quiet, enjoy the garden and relax in the above-ground swimming pool in summer. This superb gîte, which sleeps 15, is ideal for holidays with family or friends. The gîte comprises 2 buildings (house + barn) linked on the first floor by a pleasant footbridge. On the first floor, the house has : 3 spacious bedrooms and a mezzanine - Bedroom 1: 1 x 160 cm bed and a 120 cm sofa bed. - Bedroom 2: 1 140 cm bed and 1 90 cm bed. - Bedroom 3: 1 x 140 cm bed. - Mezzanine above the living room: 1 sofa bed (140 cm). On the ground floor you will find : - A bathroom (bath, shower and WC) . - Separate WC with laundry area (washing machine). - A lounge with wood-burning stove. - A spacious, fully-equipped kitchen (oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, etc.) with wood burner. Upstairs, the barn comprises : 2 bedrooms, a dormitory and a lounge - Bedroom 1: 1 double bed (140cm). - Bedroom 2: 1 double bed (140cm) plus a cot. - Dormitory: 1 bed in 160 and 3 beds in 90. - A large living room with panoramic views, heated by a wood-burning stove. Ground floor: - A bedroom with a 120cm sofa bed. - A fitted kitchen. - A bathroom (bath and shower). - Separate WC with laundry area.
