Easy and enjoyable, this trail immersed in the fir trees gives you a taste of the joys of snowshoeing without any particular effort, making the experience accessible even to beginners.

Starting from the Col de Menté, you will reach the Pic de l'Escalette, which offers a 360° view and is a superb viewpoint. This route through forests and summer pastures offers opportunities to see wildlife (including herds of Patou cattle).

Le Cagire (1,912 m) is the iconic peak of the Comminges region. It offers beautiful views of both the high peaks and the surrounding plain.

This family hike will delight everyone with its splendid views. The cabin can be the destination for this lovely hike, which is accessible to all (be aware of herds with Patou dogs).

Stroll through the sunny villages of the Frontignes and admire the indomitable Pic du Gar mountain range. A family walk that will take you along paths that are not particularly difficult but do have a slight incline that should be taken into account.

You'll get a good workout for your calves. This route, one of the longest in this mountain biking area, will take you between the Frontignes and the Sauveterre basin, on the first slopes of the Pyrenean foothills, culminating in a passage through the Col des Ares. This technical and long route will test all your mountain biking skills and physical fitness.

You are in the foothills of the Pyrenees in the bastion of Les Frontignes. Take the time to look up as you pass from Pyrenean vegetation to Mediterranean vegetation where holm oaks adorn the landscape. Starting from the lake at Saint-Pé-d'Ardet, this route will take you through several villages in the Frontignes: Génos, Lourde, Ore, Frontignan-de-Comminges and Antichan-de-Comminges. This route is difficult, short but physically intense.

This route takes you on a bird's-eye view of Sauveterre de Comminges and its hamlets. A complete itinerary for all keen mountain bikers, offering all the ingredients for a great technical ride. Les Matines gîte (sleeps 4) is located in the centre of Aspet, in a charming, picturesque alleyway a stone's throw from all the shops, tearooms, cafés, pizzerias, restaurants, bakeries, bookshops, butchers, not forgetting the two weekly markets. In summer, you can swim or take swimming lessons at the local pool, 5 minutes from the gîte. A thousand and one walks, Cagire, Paloumère, Mourtis with its ski resort. Stop off at the Col de Menté for a tarte baux myrtilles. For horse lovers, Cavalcagire is just a few kilometres away. If you want to get fit before winter, you can go to the thermal baths at Salies-du-Salat, Luchon or Loudenvieille. And why not visit Spain, 38km away, and its Val d'Aran wildlife park. Les Matines has all the makings of a large 85m² cottage, completely renovated.
