Welcome to Prigonrieux, a commune on the right bank of the Dordogne, downstream from Bergerac. The fertile soil of the wide Dordogne valley makes it a rapidly expanding commune. It is in a 12th century cartulary of Sainte Marie de Sainte that the name of our commune appears for the first time in the form of Prionru. Later, in 1382, we find Profundo rivo ("deep stream").

La Boucle de Cunèges, close to Sigoulès will make you discover the village of Cunèges and its church, the hamlet of Lestignac and its church alternating Romanesque and Gothic.

Welcome to the Cap de Fer du Fleix Loop. The commune, on the banks of the Dordogne, has a very rich heritage linked to this river: in the 18th century, the Fleix was the most important river port where various goods and the products of its vineyards transited.

Le Fleix is situated on the banks of the Dordogne at a place where the river makes a pronounced inflection. It is probably to this characteristic that it owes its name which would come from the Latin "flexus". Visit the village of Le Fleix and then go for a nice walk that will take you from prehistory to modern times.

Straddling the valley and the hillsides, this circuit is dominated by vineyards. The culture of the vine (viticulture) is ancient on these hillsides which border the Dordogne valley. One can also admire a rich rural heritage such as dovecotes, mills, and wine castles. You will pass in front of the Château de la Bourguette. This former seigniory has become an important wine estate. You will discover its dovecote dating from the 18th century, which under the Ancien Régime was a seigneurial privilege. Washhouse - 19th century. This small washhouse features three low stone walls. Located on the banks of the Dordogne, in the hamlet of Lartigues, it was probably built in the 19th century, but the hamlet's name indicates an earlier human settlement on cleared land. The washhouse has recently been restored.
