It is the only vestige of the castle that was destroyed by the troops of Richard the Lionheart in the 12th century. The proposed hike to the Grolhier pond will allow you to discover the granitic Green Périgord. After leaving the village, you will plunge into the forest and walk along several ponds before arriving at the Grolhier pond.

This route will take you through the centuries, from the Neolithic period to the Middle Ages and the Gallo-Roman period.

Located in the commune of Augignac, 600 meters from the commune's water tower, Roche Eiside is an impressive superposition of granite blocks 6 meters high. It was used as a giant milestone by the local residents It is also called "the rock of the shepherdess" because at certain times of the day, a woman's face appears engraved in the rock. This phenomenon gave birth to the "legend of the shepherdess" to be read on the spot. How to get there?
