Located in the commune of Augignac, 600 meters from the commune's water tower, Roche Eiside is an impressive superposition of granite blocks 6 meters high.
It was used as a giant milestone by the local residents
It is also called "the rock of the shepherdess" because at certain times of the day, a woman's face appears engraved in the rock. This phenomenon gave birth to the "legend of the shepherdess" to be read on the spot.
How to get there? Take the variant of the hiking loop of the ponds or go to the foot of the water tower of Augignac (direction Abjat-sur-Bandiat).
Free access all year long.
