Between Sarlat and Les Eyzies, the eye is attracted by the beautiful towers of Puymartin. This castle whose foundations date back to the XIIIth century (1270) was destroyed during the Hundred Years War, rebuilt in XVth century (1450) restored in XIXth century (1890) . It still belongs to the same family. It keeps tapestries, furniture, objects and mythological cabinet in grisaille (visited by appointment only). Puymartin is known for the spirit, White Lady.

Dating from the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries, Château de Puymartin is listed as a Historic Monument.

This 12th century church, deserves a bit of attention. The portal was done again in the 18th century. A recent restoration of the building has very well highlighted the choir in half-moon with sculpted capitals. On both sides of the entrance, notice two beautiful stony clams decorated with scallops. The side chapels date from the 15th century. They are sworn to the Beaumont. Under the dome forming a transept, a circular altar made of an old sandstone millstone has just been added. The 18th century altarpiece was a gift from Monseigneur de Beaumont.
